5 tips to your dream figure

1. a simple way to the dream figure: Intermittent Fasting

Have you heard of intermittent fasting? This is about allowing your body to go 16 hours without calories. With good reason: our ancestors were non-stop and ate much less frequently than we do today. However, our digestion and metabolism still need breaks from eating to recover and regulate. Therefore, it would be ideal for our bodies and our health to take longer breaks between meals. There is also a biochemical explanation for this: from a metabolic point of view, it takes 10 to 12 hours before energy stored in the liver is no longer used, but rather energy in the fat deposits. Scientific studies therefore recommend at least 16 hours of intermittent fasting. It's easier than you think: if you don't eat anything from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m., you can easily integrate this form of fasting into your daily routine. In the morning you can drink tea without sugar or water. As a rule, you have to be patient for about four weeks before the first results become visible. And not only losing weight can be supported: Other studies have been able to demonstrate other health benefits of intermittent fasting: such as positive effects on insulin resistance, high blood pressure or cholesterol levels.

When you lose weight, you notice that your body changes. You can support him in this process and help him lose weight in the shape that you like. For a slim, compact and fit body, it is important to tone the tissues while losing weight. Also, exercising will help you lose weight, as it will boost your fat metabolism. Strength exercises and endurance sessions are very effective and can help your body shape up.

In one study, this led to an incredible 44 percent more weight loss during a metabolic diet. Green tea or coffee can also help you boost your metabolism. Coffee, however, is more suitable for people who are already slim.

4. relaxation makes the pounds fall. 

Digestion works better when your nervous system shuts down and is set to relax. Sufficient rest is therefore highly recommended. Massage or other gentle forms of therapy, such as osteopathy, can support - as they accelerate the recovery phase. 

What you can do yourself: Don't put your psyche under too much pressure and listen to yourself. Do what you enjoy and allow yourself breaks. If you have a lot going on, get enough sleep or take a longer break in between. When eating, make sure that you take enough time, consciously eat slowly and enjoy the food. The fact that rest is an essential factor in sustainable weight loss has a name: cortisol. This is a stress hormone and when it is released more, it can mess up your whole metabolism. Then your body is in 'sympathetic nervous system' - stress mode. However, the target would be the relaxation system - the parasympathetic system. In this state, your heart beats more calmly, your digestive muscles move better, breathing is deeper, blood vessels are dilated, your body regenerates. Chronic stress can therefore cause digestive problems or prevent you from burning fat. Increased cortisol levels can also make you more likely to store deep belly fat and crave sweets. A vicious cycle. Therefore: It is better to go through life relaxed and satisfied.

Relaxation is also very important for athletic princesses. For example, cortisol interrupts the building of proteins in the body, pulls proteins from the muscles and converts them into sugar. Therefore, cortisol even seems to be muscle-degrading.

5. achieve realistic goals in stages: the key to success.

First, set a realistic goal. Then it is important that you schedule your goal in stages and move forward step by step. If you reach the first milestones, you will be doubly motivated and achieve your dream figure more easily.
